"By using a social graph to filter out results during a specific search, you can boost the relevance of search results." - this sounds right on the money. But how could this be utilized by a search engine in reality? A social graph exists within a social network application, which is generally unknown to a search engine. Should there be a social graph exposing API or metadata in order for getting search results more relevant?
